Лютеранский пастор-маньяк, убивший и растворивший свою семью в кислоте, умер в бельгийской тюрьме 

В тюрьме города Брюгге в возрасте 86 лет умер Андраш Панди – "пастор дьявола" который в конце 1980-х гг. с помощью своей дочери Агнес убил и растворил в кислоте двух жен и двух сыновей, а также двух приемных дочерей. О смерти серийного убийцы заявила пресс-секретарь бельгийского Министерства юстиции Лиселот Блейенберг, сообщает 24 декабря "Утро.Ru" со ссылкой на "De Standaard". 

В героя мировых криминальных сводок скромный лютеранский пастор венгерского происхождения Андраш Панди превратился в конце 1990-х. Серийный убийца мог бы так и остаться безнаказанным, если бы в 1997-м показания против него не дала дочь Агнес, которая в течение 11 лет была соучастницей всех его преступлений. В 2007 г., когда Панди исполнилось 80 лет, местные власти приняли решение перевести его в дом престарелых "по состоянию здоровья". Местные жители это решение резко осудили, и серийный убийца был переведен в тюрьму Брюгге, где в менее жестких условиях прожил еще шесть лет.

The first pictures of a stomach-turning torture chamber where a British-born Massachusetts resident planned to rape, murder and eat children have emerged. 

Prosecutors are pushing for would-be cannibal Geoffrey Portway, 40, to be put away for 27 years after he confessed to plotting the heinous crimes. He will be sentenced next Tuesday. 

Photographs taken by investigators of Portway's Worchester home in 2012 show an eerie staircase leading to a hidden basement room containing a 'child-sized homemade coffin,' a steel cage, handcuffs and a set of butcher's knives.

'Portway has pled guilty to some of the most vile and heinous crimes known to our society, namely participating in the sexual exploitation of young children through the possession and distribution of child pornography and soliciting the kidnapping of a child for the purpose of killing and consuming that child,' federal prosecutors wrote in court documents, obtained by the Boston Herald. 

The sentencing papers, filed yesterday, include frightening excerpts from online chats Portway had with like-minded child pornographers and potential killers, including Florida puppeteer Ronald Brown who planned to kidnap children he knew through his local church.  

According to the Herald, Brown went as far as to send Portway a photograph of a young boy 'with lines drawn on him to identify the different cuts of meat.'  

The two chatted about kidnapping the boy, taking him to a rented house and eating him over several weeks before feeding the 'leftovers' to alligators. Brown has since been convicted.
In May, Portway pleaded guilty to solicitation to kidnap a child and to distribution and possession of child pornography. As a British national, he will likely be deported after serving his sentence. 

Portway had numerous chats with individuals about a 'mutual interest in abducting, raping, murdering, and eating children,' an agreed statement of facts released by the U.S. attorney in Boston in May stated.   

In July last year, federal agents searching Portway's residence in Worcester discovered the terrifying locked dungeon in the basement of his home. 

It contained a chair, television, and what appeared to be cable access to the Internet. 

The room also contained the child-sized homemade coffin that had large speakers covering wire mesh at one end and an exterior locking devices. 

They also found a steel cage approximately 3' wide, 2'high and 4' long with multiple locking devices, and a steel table top with steel rings at six points, presumably for restraints. 

Outside was a cabinet freezer, an upright freezer, disposable scalpels, butchering kits, and castration tools. 

This dungeon was described in detail by Portway in recovered chats as a place he intended to use to keep kidnapped children while he sexually abused them and as a place to eventually murder and cannibalize the children. 

Many of these conversations were accompanied by the trading of child pornography. 

These chats also included images of children known to them, accompanied by discussions of desire to sexually abuse, murder and cannibalize those children. 

As stated both in court filings from May, through his online chats, Portway solicited several people for their help in abducting a child, including Brown and another man called Michael Arnett of Kansas. 

At least as early as 2010, Portway utilized Skype and other programs to communicate with Arnett, trading child pornography including images of injured, mutilated and deceased children while chatting about the sexual abuse, rape, abduction, murder, and cannibalism of children. 

Over months, Portway repeatedly solicited Arnett to kidnap a child for him, with the intent that Portway would ultimately rape, kill and eat that child. 

These solicitations for help in abducting a child included discussing real children, by name and photo, that Arnett claimed to know and have access. 

In the chats, Portway and Arnett discuss different ways to kidnap children and the age range that Portway prefers. 

During the time that Portway was soliciting Arnett, Portway had been told that Arnett had helped others with such requests before and that Arnett had experience with the abduction and sexual abuse of children. Arnett has since pleaded guilty in Kansas to the sexual exploitation of a child for the purposes of producing child pornography. 

A forensic examination of the computers uncovered evidence of over 4,500 trades of child pornography between Portway and others. 

Many of these trades involved Portway distributing child pornography to others based on their stated specific preferences, including images and videos appearing to depict dead children and the cannibalism of children.

WORCESTER, Mass. — A Massachusetts man who chatted online with other men about their desire to kidnap, rape, kill and eat children was sentenced Tuesday to nearly 27 years in prison after prosecutors showed photos of a basement dungeon he built, a child-sized coffin, butchering tools and metal restraints. 

Geoffrey Portway, 40, of Worcester, was sentenced to 26 years and eight months behind bars, just under the 27-year, three-month sentence sought by prosecutors. 

Assistant U.S. Attorney Stacy Dawson Belf said chats recovered from Portway's computer show he solicited people for help for a kidnapping with the intent of raping, killing and eating a child. She disputed claims by Portway's attorney that he was merely fantasizing and did not intend to do the things he described online. 

Belf read from one of his chats and said Portway had assembled everything he needed to carry out his plan, except for a child. 

"I want to eat ... the two boys you will bring me," Belf quoted Portway as writing. "Perhaps not today, but it will happen. That is all I live for. ... I am serious. It is the only thing that gets me up in the morning."

Exclusive: Necrophobic vocalist sentenced to prison for spousal/child abuse [Updated]

Swedish death metal band Necrophobic released the first single from their forthcoming album, Womb of Lilithu, yesterday. But when the album comes out on October 29th (October 25th in the rest of the world), don’t expect vocalist Tobias Sidegard to be touring in support of it. That’s because the frontman is currently in prison, having been sentenced to 18 months for abusing his wife and children.

In Swedish court documents and police reports obtained by Metal Insider, Sidegard’s wife Linda was interviewed by police describing incidents in which she was beaten by him multiple times and forced into oral sex with him. He also was charged with abuse for beating his daughters Tindra and Nova with a homemade bullwhip. There are other allegations against Sidegard in the court documents. Tindra claimed that when she was younger, her father would lock her and her mother in their room during the day while he slept. 

For his part, Tobias claimed that he was on amphetamines when he hit his children with the bullwhip, claiming that he was only joking, and that he would never harm his children. The reports paint a different picture for his wife, with a cell phone photo of her with a swollen eye among the evidence presented to the court. He was also accused of stepping on her feet with full force, causing fractures, pain and swelling. In interviews with his previous wife, Anna, she said that in ten years of marriage, he was verbally abusive and was domineering, but he never hit her. After being confronted with the allegations of him beating his children, he threatened suicide. 

Sidegard was found guilty in June, and sentenced to one year and six months in prison, convicted of “severe abuse to a female partner” and “abuse.”  His bullwhip was also confiscated. There’s no word on how this will effect promotion for Womb Of Lilithu, which is still scheduled to come out on October 25th. Season of Mist’s French office hadn’t responded at the time of this publishing. We’ll continue to update you as this develops.

anded down earlier today, and Sidegard has still been found guilty, but he’ll only be doing six months, as opposed to the 18 that he’d been originally sentenced to. 

Sidegard was found guilty of two charges of “abuse.” He was originally accused of “severe abuse to a female partner.” The court found that testimony from his ex-wife Linda was not found altogether trustworthy, in that she hadn’t been totally forthcoming about her own drug use. That seems to have played a part in the reduced sentence. The court still had full trust in the testimony the children gave, however. As part of the term, he has to pay Linda 16,000 kronor plus interest, which works out to around $2,500. It’s not known whether time already served will shorten his sentence.

"He stole my life": How a teenager was forced to join a satanic sex cult... by her evil uncle 

When Catrina went to live with her aunt and uncle, she thought her terrible childhood had come to an end. But it was just the beginning of her ordeal.  

Every time Catrina Jeffrey sees someone wearing a crucifix around their neck it makes her shudder.  

For the 36-year-old mum-of-three, the emblem isn’t a religious symbol or fashion accessory.  

It is a reminder of the abuse she suffered at the hands of an evil cult leader.  

Catrina was only a schoolgirl when she was sent to live with her aunt and uncle Elaine and Colin Batley.  

She thought she had finally found the loving family that she had always longed for.  

But it turned out that her uncle was a monster who raped and sexually abused children as young as six.  

As the leader of a satanic cult, he would repeatedly invite men over to his house to have sex with Catrina and told her he would kill her if she breathed a word about it to anyone.  

“I was an innocent schoolgirl and that man stole my life,” Catrina says.  

“He raped and abused me in unimaginably horrific ways, using me as a sex toy for his cult members. I was trapped. There was no escape.”  

Between the ages of 15 and 23, Catrina was forced to have sex with up to 12 men a month.  

She was subjected to a “cult” marriage and had three children. She has no idea who the father of her eldest child is.  

Catrina only managed to escape the cult at the age of 24, later bravely giving evidence against her uncle in court.  

Batley was jailed for 22 years for his crimes last year, but even now Catrina cannot forget what he put her through.  

“Sometimes little things remind me of him and all of a sudden I am transported back to that awful time in my life,” she says. “It never really goes away.”  

Catrina’s nightmare began when she was just two years old and her stepfather, Vincent Barden, began sexually abusing her.  

It carried on until she was 12, but Catrina was too scared to tell her mum.  

She couldn’t help showing her dislike of Barden and was eventually sent to live with her aunt Elaine and uncle Colin, who became her legal guardians. They appeared normal at first.  

“I felt so grateful when they took me in,” Catrina says.  

“They seemed so kind and loving – a real family, something I had never had.

"My uncle would take me ice-skating and we would sometimes go for picnics and play board games. I felt happy in those first weeks.”  

Little did Catrina know that her new-found happiness was about to come to an abrupt end. 

Jailed: Colin Batley was given 22 years 

 “One night about six weeks after I had moved in, Uncle Colin ordered everyone to bed except me,” she recalls. 

“He then came into the living room and sat next to me and began talking about things like respect and rules. 

"Then he blurted out, ‘I’m a member of a cult. You either join or you’ll have to leave this house’.” 

Desperate not to lose her seemingly perfect home life, Catrina agreed. 

“I didn’t even really know what a cult was,” she says. 

“But I told myself that it couldn’t be worse than going back to live with my stepdad.” 

A few days later, Catrina was told by Batley that she would need to be initiated into the cult. 

“I was soon made to understand what the ‘initiation’ meant,” she says. 

“Uncle Colin raped me in the living room while his wife and children slept upstairs.” 

Catrina thought about confiding in her aunt but the day after the attack she realised Elaine knew – and didn’t mind. 

After raping her, Batley presented Catrina with an upside down crucifix on a string rope. 

“He told me it represented my life, and that if I snapped the cross I’d die,” she says. 

“I realised he wasn’t just Uncle Colin any more. He was a leader of a cult and I had to obey his every command.” 

A few days later, Catrina was abused by both her aunt and uncle. 

After that strangers visited the house every Sunday for cult meetings and rituals. 

They would dress in purple silk robes and read from The Book of The Law, written by occultist Aleister Crowley, known as “The Great Beast”. 

“They would stand before an altar covered with burning candles and a tarantula in a tank and then Auntie Elaine would preach from the book chanting things like, ‘Let all chaste women be despised’. It was really bizarre.” 

On Halloween, their holiest day, Catrina was given a black tunic to wear. Worshippers swayed as Batley, the high priest, held court. 

“After my initiation, the abuse got worse,” Catrina says. 

“I was forced to have sex with strangers aged between 30 and 50, up to five nights a week. 

“Some of them were married, some were loners, but every one of them made me feel physically sick. 

"Uncle Colin would always watch as they raped me. Sometimes, he and aunt Elaine would join in. 

“If I dared protest, Uncle Colin would remind me of the consequences. Once he put a shoelace around my neck as a warning and waved a gun at me.” 

Catrina wasn’t allowed to have much contact with the outside world and began feeling more and more isolated. 

Then, just after her 16th birthday, a man called Matthew* turned up at the house and Batley told her he was going to be her partner. 

“I was forced to go upstairs and have sex with him and we were told we would have to live as husband and wife,” she says. 

“My uncle convinced me that his cult was huge and that I was being watched at all times, so even when I popped out to the shop I didn’t dare tell anyone or even think about escaping. 

"Even when I got a day job at a factory I was too scared to tell any of my colleagues because I had been brainwashed into thinking that he had spies everywhere.” 

Catrina was forced to give 25% of everything she earned to Batley as a “gift” to the cult. 

Months passed and new members joined. The Batleys moved from London to Kidwelly, west Wales, and Catrina and Matthew went with them. 

“I was too terrified to run away,” Catrina explains. “There was always the fear that I’d be found and killed.” 

At the age of 21, Catrina gave birth to a son, Nathan*, weighing 6lb 4oz. 

“Colin was still forcing me to have sex with him so I didn’t know if it was his baby or Matthew’s,” she says. 

“But he was thrilled and told me this child was a cult baby.” Just over a year later, Catrina became pregnant again and had her second son, Jake*. 

It was only after his birth that she discovered through another cult member that Batley had abused a child who was six years old. 

“It was the information and power I needed to escape,” she says. 

“I told him I knew everything and saw something in his eyes I had never seen before – fear. He told me I was free to leave the cult, but warned me that if I told anyone about it, I’d be killed.” 

Catrina, then 24, fled and Matthew followed. She gave birth to a third child, Daniel*, soon after. 

Despite the fact that none of her children had been conceived out of love, Catrina never regretted having them. 

“They were my life and having them was the only thing that kept me going,” she says. 

“I loved my children so much and didn’t want them to experience the kind of life I’d had. 

"But I was still terrified I was being watched and Matthew was incredibly abusive and controlling. I knew I had to escape him too for my kids’ sake.” 

Four months after Daniel was born, Catrina ran away to a women’s refuge. 

She says: “It was the hardest and bravest decision I ever made. 

"When I got to the refuge I realised I was free for the first time in my life. No one could hurt me any more.” 

Slowly Catrina began rebuilding her life. Then, aged 32, she met Mark*, 34, who was to become her proper husband. 

Finally, she was happy. But in March 2010, she heard through a friend that her aunt and uncle had been arrested. 

“I was told that another victim of the cult had gone to the police and told them everything,” she says. 

“I knew what I had to do. I picked up the phone and called the police and made a statement.” 

Thanks to the evidence that Catrina gave, Batley, 48, and his wife were brought to justice in March last year at Swansea crown court. 

Batley was convicted of 35 sex offences against children and adults, including rape, buggery, sexual assault and forcing prostitution, and was jailed for 22 years. 

Elaine, 47, was found guilty of five counts, including sexual activity and indecency towards children and was sentenced to eight years in jail. 

Judge Thomas told evil Batley: “You took cruel delight in initiating children into sex but their lives have been blighted forever.” 

Catrina also told the police what her stepfather, Vincent Barden, 70, had done to her. 

Barden admitted two counts of indecent assault and was given three years in jail. 

“For the first time ever I felt liberated,” says Catrina. “I am so glad those evil people are in jail for what they did to me. 

“Now it is time for me to start living my life and to stop being afraid.”

В организации своеобразного "педофильского ордена" подозревается 48-летний Колин Бэтли, специально перебравшийся в 1990-е годы из Лондона в далекую провинциальную деревушку Кидвелли (графство Кармартеншир), чтобы развращать молодежь подальше от посторонних глаз. При этом он признал, что пытался прочитать "Книгу Закона", но не смог ее осилить. Себя при этом Колин Бэтли причислил к мормонам и заявил, что для него главной книгой остается Библия.

А Марлинг и Бэтли назвали секс-оргию подарком юноше на 16-летие.

Еще одна девочка занималась групповым сексом с Колином Бэтли и Жаклин Марлинг, утверждает гособвинение.

North Carolina Democrat accused of satanic rituals — husband charged with rape

DURHAM, N.C. -- Durham County Democratic Party officials are shocked about allegations that a local Democratic leader was involved in satanic rituals that included shackling people to beds, caging them, and depriving them of food and water.

Joy Johnson, 30, a third vice chairwoman of the county Democratic party and vice chairwoman of the Young Democrats, was charged Friday with two counts of aiding and abetting.

Her husband, Joseph Scott Craig, 25, was charged with second-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon for an incident in January and another in May.

"Part of the allegations are that satanic worship is part of this case," said Mark McCullough, an assistant district attorney, when the two appeared in court Monday morning after spending the weekend in the Durham County Jail.

Floyd McKissick, a state senator and a Democrat from Durham, said Monday that he had been told that Johnson had resigned her posts with the party.

"I was absolutely shocked and flabbergasted," McKissick said. "You never would have suspected allegations that she would have had any participation in these rituals."

Craig has been charged with beating a man with a cane and a cable cord, and assaulting a woman with a wooden cane and raping her.

A judge set Johnson's bail at $270,000. Craig's bail was set at $500,000. Each was ordered to stay away from the accusers.

Jeremy Collins, president of the Durham Young Democrats, has known Johnson for several years. After following the Duke lacrosse case and seeing the phony gang-rape charges ultimately dismantled and dismissed, Collins said he would reserve judgment until the facts of this case were revealed.

"If it's true, then it's extremely unfortunate and a shock to all of us," Collins said.

During her time as a party official, Johnson was interested in trying to attract more young Democrats and get them involved in the political process, acquaintances say.

Johnson and Craig, along with Diana Palmer, first vice chairwoman for the local Democrats, are partners in a company called Indigo Dawn. The company's Web site says Indigo Dawn offers products and services "to promote enlightenment and assist in the development and self-empowerment and divine potential."

Among the services offered, according to the Web site, are "intuitive guidance, past-life regression, spirit guide communication and healing and cleansing."

Британские сыщики продолжают многонедельное исследование территории бывшего детского приюта на острове Джерси. Найдены уже 4 секретных "пыточных камеры", в которых детей насиловали, мучили и убивали.

Расследование преступлений, творимых в середине прошлого столетия в детском приюте Haut de la Garenne в Сент-Мартине на острове Джерси, уже превратилось в крупнейший в истории страны процесс над педофилами, пишет газета The Telegraph . В деле фигурируют 40 подозреваемых и 160 вероятных жертв, однако главный преступник успел уйти из жизни задолго до раскрытия своих злодеяний.

В процессе раскопок территории детского приюта на острове Джерси криминалисты наткнулись на новые "пыточные комнаты" для провинившихся воспитанников. Следствию удалось собрать уже более 160 свидетельских показаний жертв жутких преступлений, творимых в приюте в 1950-х годах. Полученные материалы испещрены фрагментами воспоминаний, в которых жертвы оказывались в "темном подземелье", где им приходилось терпеть насилие и пытки.

Глава следственной группы Ленни Харпер говорит, что криминалисты почти закончили обследование первых двух секретных помещений, после чего приступят к изучению только что найденных "пыточных комнат".

Первый "застенок" имеет небольшие размере и в плане напоминает квадрат со стороной около 3,5 метра. Однако остальные три комнаты занимают площадь 3,5 на 10 метров каждая. Более того, в полиции предполагают, что первоначально все три "застенка" были одним помещением. В пользу этого говорит то, что смежные стены комнат как будто достроены позднее.

Не исключено, что криминалистов ждут новые страшные находки. Так, в одном из помещений уже найдены останки ребенка. Детский череп криминалисты нашли еще в феврале. Как предполагается, узники этих "пыточных" подвергались сексуальному, физическому и психологическому насилию.

По словам Харпера, радиоуглеродный анализ найденных человеческих останков еще не завершен. Однако можно с уверенностью утверждать, что найденный череп датируется не раньше 20-х годов XX столетия.

Полицейские уже составили список подозреваемых в массовом насилии над детьми. Из 40 подозреваемых в преступлениях примерно 25 человек входили в персонал приюта, и все они живы. Однако главный вероятный виновник злодеяний - директор богоугодного заведения - умер 20 лет назад.

В 1986 году приют был закрыт, а в 2004 году здание стали использовать в качестве общежития для молодежи.

Педофил, чиновник, опекун

В начале марта показания против давно умершего директора приюта дала его падчерица, 38-летняя Тина Бли. Отчим насиловал ее по вечерам, когда жена педофила отсутствовала.

В полиции подозревают, что именно Тилбрук причастен не только к изнасилованиям, но и к убийствам детей, воспитанников приюта.

Маньяк оставил свою падчерицу в покое только после того, как завел себе любовницу, с которой желал заключить свой третий брак.
